Like cotton, true linen products are plant-based – linen is derived from Flax, and most linen-based bedding is produced from Flax in Belgium, which is regarded as some of the most high quality flax in the world. Linen is an amazing fabric that is warm in the winter, cool in the summer and is one of few truly breathable fabrics in existence. If you’ve never slept with linen before, you will be amazed at it’s heft and it’s unique feel – crisp out of the bag, but it becomes softer and softer with each wash.

Due to the fact that linen is a natural product, you’ll find that it will outlast many other products with which it competes. Linen sheets, for example, can last decades with proper use. In addition, natural products have the benefit of retaining their properties for much longer, as their properties aren’t simply a chemical additive that wears off over time. For example, a PCM (phase-change material) is a chemical that is often applied to certain fabrics or materials to make them cooler, but that PCM will wear down and eventually fade completely over time. Linen, on the other hand, reaps its benefits from it’s natural design, without chemical interference.

Care Instructions

1. CLEANING: To ensure years of softness and to prevent pilling, we recommend washing your sheet set every couple of weeks. You can always spot-clean with soap and water.
2. MACHINE WASH: Always wash these sheets in cold water on a gentle or delicate washer cycle. Fabric softener is not recommended as chemicals in fabric softener can contribute to the breakdown of the fibers. Do not use bleach.
3. DRYING: Use your dryer on tumble-dry with low or no heat to dry these sheets. You can also air-dry over a line, which will always be recommended.
4. IRON WHILE DAMP. For crisp sheets without wrinkles, take out of the dryer while damp to iron (on low-medium heat) and then fold or make the bed. French Linen wrinkles naturally which is part of the aesthetic appeal, but for a flat and crisp look, iron when damp or spritz fabric with water while ironing. 

These sheets come with a 3-year limited warranty that covers ripping and tearing – with proper usage these sheets should last decades!
